They're probably going to exercise the buying clause on de Ketelaere, who's been arguably better with them than ever with Brugge, and nothing to do with his historically bad season in Milan.

I've said this before, but Thiago Motta must be rated as the 2nd best manager in Serie A this season. You have to credit Simone Inzaghi for the title, but T.Motta has taken Bologna to great heights nobody expected.

If no richer teams are aiming to sign him, I hope Milan try very hard to make Thiago Motta their manager for the next season.

Rafael Leao came on at half-time, and just now produced a penetrating run and made a through pass for Pulisic to score, so it's 2-0 just before an hour mark.

Edit: Reijnders restores the two goal lead with a good long range shot. I suppose you can argue he doesn't score often enough, but when he manages to hit the ball sweetly from far away, any resulting goals look very pleasing.

I think it had less to with having no clue how to use him and more to do with the tactics and formations, he just didn't fit there,

Likely a new manager coming next season, likes of Giroud leaving, maybe there could have been a place for De Ketelaere. Of course it's much safer option for him to stay at Atalanta.

Important win for Udinese over Lecce today, goals by Lucca (header) and Smaradzic (rebound) as they climb out of the relegation zone. They will still face other clubs fighting against relegation, so the situation near the bottom remains tight.
