In the end a draw is enough for Lazio to secure the 5th spot.

Viola win 2-0 as well to make it into Europe (to which competition depends on Roma's Conf. League final result). Juve were clearly already on holiday mode as Fiorentina greatly dominated possession. Even if there was nothing at stake for Juve, the side clearly needs a huge kick in the ass and new hungry players to get them challenging for honours next season.

I think it will be Conference no matter what, on Juve, I'm afraid they have an excellent transfer market.

If you thought Frankfurt at Barcelona was a funny fan takeover…there are maybe 100 Sass fans in their stadium for this game. Maybe not even that.

Cagliari go down, which isn't surprising taking into account they've only had 2 players being quality this year, Joao Pedro and Altare, and the latter just played half the season. The rest were either too often injured to get any kind of rhythm or just overpaid mercenaries who didn't give a damn.

Then and there
Really nice to see Milan win the title after waiting for over a decade. Can't help but loving Rafael Leao, what a player. Tonali also made a massive improvement compared to last season. And what can you say about Maignan, some crucial saves at right moments and as consistent as they come.

All in all, great team effort, lots of credit to Pioli for that. Lots of fringe players didn't sulk at all, but put in a spirited effort whenever they got their chance to play. Kalulu really stepped up when Kjaer went down with an injury. Even if Kessie wasn't anywhere his level from last season, and knewing that he would leave at season's end, he didn't quit on the team. And got a nice sending off with scoring a goal. Milan grinded out several important wins, and the few misshaps didn't prove out to be detrimental after all.

Not knowing what the potential new owners might be able to invest on the team, maybe Milan can't improve much to be a real threat in Europe, but they should be able to put up more of a fight than this season in the CL group stage.

If there is money available, they would do well to look at players from Ligue 1 teams, who won't be in Europe next season: Botman from Lille and guys from Lyon.

After their remarkable rise from the dead in the 2nd half of the season, Salernitana collapsed really bad in their final home match, but survided anyway in Serie A as Cagliari somehow failed to take advantage against already relegated Venezia.

We’ll see more-Tonali -Bennacer starting together as Kessie is leaving , and it will be fun to watch

Ghoulam started yesterday and played his final game for Napoli

He also wore the Captain armband at some point in the game

A shame his career has been hampered by injuries

Great send off for him, if indeed that's his last game as a Rossonero.

Probably was his last game Milan, if not his career. Immediately after he had a knee operation (ACL), and estimated to be out for 7-8 months.

Maybe somebody is willing to offer him a contract in January, but the odds are at his age that he is done as a pro player.

Monza promoted to Serie A for the time in their 100+ years of existence. They are now owned by Silvio Berlusconi, run by his familiar henchman Galliani and managed by Giovanni Stroppa, another one with AC Milan background.

6 points guaranteed for Milan next year.
