Pretty much this. People who argue we should have given up the pick last year clearly have no understanding of statistics and probabilities.

It's still early, but the top end of the 2019 draft looks really good this year.

7th/8th OVR in 2019 is probably worth 3rd/4th in 2018.

Plus a 10-20% chance at a future superstar like Hughes is easily worth risking dropping a couple spots in draft position.

We should have given up the pick.

Honestly feel bad for Ceci. I'm not sure I've seen a player be put in a situation where he's wearing a letter (not a leader) and treated as a top 2 d-man (he's a #5 or 6 edit: at best).

Disagree. Tkachuk will prove you wrong soon enough. People hype up the next draft all the time

So why did we want Borgman? He's much worse than our glutton of guys who aren't good enough to make the jump from the AHL to the NHL.

My theory is that he was thrown into the deal because he was a 2nd round pick, which Dorion can sell to the more gullible fans out there.

We have so many guys year after year who constantly bobble the puck. We need to focus on drafting guys with decent hands. Unbelievable how many guys can't handle the puck with no one around them or can't make a simple pass.

We might only average a goal a game this season, but at least ....................................................................................................we're a team!

People who bang the glass should get a chair thrown at their face

Harsh, but fair.

I think they are waiting for the day when a player admits in an interview, "I had my teammate in the slot all lined up for the pass, but that fan banging on the glass just completely threw me off my game. Damn them".
