Bear and Larsson play ahead of him. When Larsson was out Persson did. When Persson got injured Russell played on his off side to prevent Benning from playing top-4 minutes. Tippet is insistent on keeping him on the bottom pairing, and as a result has actually been pretty solid this year.

u both are wrong Benning played fourth most of D in Sj 3rd most against Avs that was not months ago more like ten days

that is where he should NOT be and we are kind of lucky he got concussed so it did not keep happening
