It's the day before the first preseason game so I figured a more specific thread is warranted. Any predictions on the lineup? Home preseason games tend to have more projected starters.

Personally I'm hoping that the Copp-Dubois-Ehlers line plays.

Lines 2, 4, 5, and 6 from the chart along with pairs 2, 3, and 4 would be a nice lineup. In net I think Maurice said the 6 preseason games would be split something like 3-2-1 between Hellebuyck-Comrie-Berdin, so I expect Comrie'll play.

Ice time might skew to the bottom 9 in my scenario because Maurice has said he wants to get a lot of time to audition the 4th line C between Harkins, Nash, and Gustafsson.

According to Moe the first two games are set up to each feature one of our PP units. The Ehlers one is going tomorrow and the Scheifele one on Weds.

He also indicated Ves (Not with Lowry and Paul) and Comrie were in. So I'm thinking Ves likely is in to playing on the second pp unit in Perraukts spot.

He also indicates he wants the kids to play a lot so I'm guessing Cole and Ville will also be in.

It would be nice to see what Vesalainen and Perfetti could do together. Not sure who the 3rd wheel would be. Maybe Svetchnikov will get a look on Dubois's PP unit.

I must admit I'm excited for this season. Between the D upgrades and Maurice saying there will be system changes, on paper it sounds great. How it's implemented we'll have to wait and see. In any case, consider me cautiously hyped.
