Yeah and finishing dead last next year only to draft 4th again...Its the Ottawa wayI was hoping we don't finish last but I think it's this teams destiny to give up Hughes to Colorado. For shame!

18.5 chance to draw #1 pick still isn't very good.I was hoping we don't finish last but I think it's this teams destiny to give up Hughes to Colorado. For shame!
Still more than likely that the Avs end up picking 4th, even if the Sens finish with the worst record. They could even pick 5th if the Sens pass the Kings, which I still think is a distinct possibility. I doubt the pick ends up any higher than the 2018 Sens pick.

Chabot and Brannstrom?
Nice.
If Chabot isn't able to play, do you guys think they'll call up Cowen?

Cowen has always been with us in spirit.
He spent some time in the bardo and now he's been reincarnated as Ben Harpur.
I'm listening to that interview and thinking, "Did he really just say Cowen?" You have to laugh - it helps keep you from crying...
I thinking he's involved (tries to be) but doesn't really know much more than the average fan who goes to games for a night out and doesn't care about anything other than what's on the NHL roster. The Cowen thing is kinda funny. We constantly hear how hands on Melnyk is.
Did he misspeak?
He either misspoke, is completely losing his marbles or isn't really involved at all.
