If the Jets can make a good playoff run that 1st won't return much for Montreal... so don't over value this pick IMO.

Yup. Have to imagine Montreal continues to sell off pieces towards the TDL and that 2nd round pick of theirs will continually move up higher in draft order.

It's going to be a very late pick so practically a second rounder. Not a huge deal IMO, we won't be losing out on drafting any can't miss first rounder prospects like *checks notes* Logan Stanley.

I don't think he's any better of our current 3 centres. And maybe overall the 9th or 10th best fwd on the team? We'll see how it shakes out on the ice.

The only thing I will say, he fits what we need. Good on the PP and good at faceoffs. That's a fine addition and a player I would like.

It's just the price is awful

Don't like it at the cost of a 1st. I don't think he's better than scheifele or namestnikov, and lowry isn't moving off 3C.

He’s better than Namestnikov. I’d be shocked if he didn’t play like so with yall.

Hes good. He fits to any situation the Habs put him in and was the only forward the fanbase trusted outside of Suzuki/Caufield.

As long as he stays healthy he is a legit 2C and I hope y’all can win the cup with him
