Top six needs to start scoring ES. Lots of other storylines and issues but you need your best forwards to score 5 on 5.

That's it, we can bitch about the refs all we want, but we need to take matters into our own hands 5on5. We cannot rely on 5-6 PPs every game. It's a bad look.

It is amazing that the Bruins comtinue to get called for marginal bullshit while the Blues are still running around trying the end peoples careers with headshots freely.

I dont even know what to think or say at this point. At least it is consistent.

It's pretty hilarious that when the Bruins played the heavy, physical game they would get 50% more penalties than their opponents. The Blues do it — and do it MUCH dirtier — and get away with EVERYTHING.
Exactly!

But hey, the league needs a cinderella story right?

I think the Buins are clearly the better team when at their best, but it doesnt feel like the outcome is in the hands of the players. This feels like the NBA more so than any other time as a hockey fan. Infractions every trip down the ice, just a matter of what they feel like calling and it completely dictates the flow of the game.

It's apparent there is no home ice advantage tonight. Bs are going to have to rise up and overcome two squads tonight. So far I like what the Bs are bringing. Plenty of chances, just no reward. Tuukka didn't have many saves, but boy were some of them big.

In a survey done years ago statistics showed that teams wearing black uniforms get penalized more than teams wearing non-black uniforms. The survey was directed at the NFL and the NHL.

Getting killed on the dot. Otherwise controlling the play. Tuukka has saved our bacon

Binnington is giving up rebounds all over the place. Only a matter of time until Nordstrom buries one.

In the NHL it's just whichever team has a jersey with a spoked B on it. White or black, no difference.

Good period. Don’t feel too hot about the score however.

They are going to have to play the game of their lives to win tonight. That doesn't mean pretty goals. It means all out team defense in the face of a bruising, head-hunting team that will, indeed, seek to injure. The Blues physicality is their greatest strength in this series.

The Bruins cannot afford to allow STL easy & lengthy access to their D zone. It looked fairly good in session one, compared to the nightmare of G2 & 4.
