Good to see Lilly in. Not the way I wanted him to be in but we'll take it. There is pressure on him to perform. If he does well, he makes it tough for Keefe to not give him more opportunities.

It's just an odd spot where the leafs have 16 million tied up in super short term injuries. No way dubas could foresee this, I don't blame him one bit. That's what you get for maximizing the cap.

Not surw why they wouldn't just waive Amadio and bring up Hutch. Run a short lineup up front.

It's not like he's really shown much.

Really simple and understandable logic there.

You will definitely use your 12th forward. You most likely won't use your backup goalie.

It's nothing more than to invoke the emergency recall rules. Need to be short one roster player for a game for it to kick in. Now is the perfect time. Hutch can then be recalled, but not count on the cap.

Might as well use all avenues at your disposal.

The only issue is not having any of the hurts player be hurt enough to put on LTIR, which is good for us in the long run cause none of the injuries are significant. Bad in the short run.

This isn't the first time this has happened to a team in the NHL either, teams just decided to recall a backup goalie and went with 11F and 6D for that game. We did the opposite and went with a full roster and didn't call up a goalie.
