Severson needs to get a clue on how to play defensemen and for the love of God, get Moore off our f***ing PK, please.

I think it would be best to just get Hayes off the team. He doesn’t do anything and his slow style doesn’t fit this team. Just put Noesen in or bring up JQ/Blandisi.

And Mueller just looks bad. I’m not seeing why we traded a 2nd round pick for him. Literally any AHL fodder could do what he does.

Calling it: the most unwatchable game of the season will be 3/24, when we're home vs Tampa Bay the day after returning from a two-week, Tennessee-Nevada-California-Pennsylvania roadtrip. Awful scheduling.
Wow ya lol, thats ridiculous. how can you not fit one of those games into these next 6 days? Schedule has been really strange these couple years.

Rough game. Zilch went our way all night. Ended up just hoping Zacha or Bratt would score by the end there really

Mueller just looks like a rookie out there, which makes sense since he has so few NHL games under his belt.

Physical tools seem fine, but lots of mental errors. He doesn’t seem sure of himself in his decision making.

Being paired with Lovejoy and Butcher tonight made it all the worse because Butcher can’t handle that and LJ is trash.

Moore was the one that really pissued me off tonight.

It is such simple thing to clear the f***ing puck, and he consistently can’t do it. Hit the glass and out just once for f***s sake.

Moore, Mueller, and Lovejoy were pretty damn bad today IMO. So bad that they mitigated a lot of good work by the forwards. But at the same time, this was a tough game. Second half of a back to back against a good team after playing 8 games in 14 nights. Hopefully they'll be well rested after the break.

Didn't watch the 3rd, didn't want to put myself through what looked like a sure loss. Muller is getting on my nerves not gonna lie, the guy thinks he's the 4th forward about 80% of the time. I swear the leads the rush more than our forwards do... Moore and Lovejoy were just plain bad, which was to be expected. I think I die just a little bit inside every time I see Lovejoy on the ice, like it hurts me physically.

On another note apparently it was a microphone glitch that happened during the anthem and not the singer freezing up. I was wondering if that was the case cause it seemed so random that she'd stop halfway through unless she forgot a verse or the microphone suddenly went dead.

I didn't realize even Palmieri got a seat. They really do have to keep cracking down on these stupid penalties.

Can't win them all but this was not a good effort at all.

Got out skated, out worked and out hustled from the first shift.

Terrible game to watch as a Devils fan.

The empty seats did not help give them a push either.

A lot of technical difficulties lately, even though they're unrelated. Nico's interview with Deb cut out a bunch of times last night.

I saw someone say that his interview last night after the 1st period was like Forrest Gump's speech about Vietnam, when they pulled the plug on him, and plugged it back in just in time for him to say ''And that's all I have to say about that....''

I forgot if I read that in the GDT, I think I did, later on, like last night when I was bored and went through the GDT. since I miss so many posts with this new format.

On the plus side, at least the Rags are in the basement and the Yankees are just about to lose Game 6.

I thought Palms got benched. At one point he played the puck in the corner near me and I asked my cousin "has he been playing lately?"

One thing to note is the Devils played a tough overtime game last night in Ottawa, flew back late, while SJ hasn't played since Tuesday.

Plus, Pete owns us and NJD just can't beat a big team like SJ at home.
Not since 2011, yikes.

There wasn't really that many empty seats at the end of the first. Problem is once the Yankee game got started people were outside the halls watching the TV's, and once the Devil game went to **** late in the 2nd people high-tailed it out of dodge quicker than normal.

And now that game has gotten out of hand so it is time to just drink
