I am glad we are playing weaker teams at the beginning of the season.

Let's the players learn the system whilst still winning games.

Weird...

Left wing lock has our lines from practice today as this:

HOFFMAN - TURRIS -PYATT
STONE -BRASSARD -RYAN
MCCORMICK - PAGEAU -DZINGEL
PUEMPEL -KELLY -NEIL

Not sure what to think of Stone Brassard and Ryan together; seems like it lacks too much speed on the wings. Smith not practicing.

That could be a really strong line in the offensive zone, but on the breakout/dump-in I'm thinking exactly what you are.

I hope it's in an attempt to get Brassard and Ryan going. It seems like whoever Stone plays with improves their play.

Love that McCormick-Pageau-Dzingel line.

Weird for sure, unsure why the havent tried Ryan and Turris together with a defensive burner like Pyatt or Dzingle.Move Hoffy and Stone to the 2nd line

Ideal world, that line is either Smith-Pageau-Dzingel or better yet Dzingel-Pageau-Pyatt.

If Dzingel shows a disposition to playing his off-wing at this level, it could really open up options if MacArthur comes back.

MacArthur-Turris-Ryan/Stone
Hoffman-Brassard-Dzingel
Smith-Pageau-Stone/Ryan
McCormick-Kelly-Pyatt

That looks pretty sweet to me,

Smith wasn't skating at the practice. not sure why, maybe just a maintenance day (he tweaked something in the game against Carolina if I recall).

Yeah, that's good. I also like that we play at home a lot, although I'm a little worried for the end of the season when we barely play in Ottawa... that's a tomorrow problem, though.

Pyatt has struggled getting the puck out playing his off wing. I don't get these ones at all, I agree Ryan Brassard Stone is too slow and Stone is playing out of position.

It's flu season. I wonder if Sens all get routine flu shots?! If 2 or 3 key players miss 2 or 3 games, does this result in 2 or 3 more avoidable losses?

How long until we see Claesson Karlsson again? IMO Claesson's passing and faster feet make him a better match than Methot...but I could be wrong ;)
