Sweet win again feeling good

For Devil fans yes. For the Sabres fans we just want to get through the next stretch of games without having to play the entire Rochester team. God it is awful watching them. Roll on January and hopefully a full team of nhlers......

Rack up and bank points. All I ask from this team. Stay in the race and hopefully Shero can pull a Lou circa 2012 and add depth throughout the season

Kid is gonna get PAID if he keeps it up.

Fine by me, not like too many other players are getting paid by the time Sevs comes up for his big contract. He looks like Rafalski offensively right now and has the potential to be better than the former #28 defensively. At least now people can pipe down who were saying he'll never be anything special based on two NHL seasons.

The defensemen are racking up the goals lately, we've almost had more defensemen goals the last two nights than we did in some SEASONS of the grenade handlers a few years ago.

6 points from the D tonight, including 2 goals.

I thought both Quincey and Lovejoy had quiet, solid games.

Ice time was spread out very nicely tonight among the D.

We were there in 14-15, but with more old guys. Things change fast in this league, I think you've got a good nucleus to build on when you get healthy.

Isn't it nice being able to transition with speed? It was painful to watch some of those teams lumber up the ice and then turn it over.

Well.....this was HUGE as far as getting 2 points from, as Bleed calls them, the cream of the crap.

Especially with this ominous Road Trip ahead of them. Yes, they CAN go and win games on the road against those teams but the games haven't happened yet and it just looks no less daunting.

Devils have to bring their 'A' game every night if they are to be successful.

Was at the game.
Awesome to see the Marines and Navy guys and gals enjoying the game.

Late arriving crowd but it filled in decently.

I donated food and got the free tickets voucher.

Thought we had some sloppy spells with giveaways in the d zone that Hynes will discuss.

But, they converted on their scoring chances and were more physical than Buff.

Seems like the crowd gasps every time Hall has the puck on his stick. Is it noticeable live because it comes through quite well on TV.

Even in the glory years we never got off to this kind of home start

If we can keep up at least some of this home record and we can make the playoffs.

We have wins against all kinds of teams too. Playoff and lotto teams.

While I am hoping for a good road trip, I'm a lot more curious to see how we fare when we start playing the Metro more.

Especially with how sick the Metro is this year. Between the big three of Pittsburgh, the Caps and Rangers and the new offensive juggernaut in Columbus the division games aren't going to be easy this year.

Wow. When was the last time we had a better record then all the Cali teams when we went out there?

Not that it means the games will be any easier, but still kind of nuts.

We usually match up well against the Pens and Rags.

We also suck ass against Columbus.

Just got back from another win at this home Ice Advantage known as the Rock!

Don't really have much to say, just a solid performance all around. I think it's time we start to appreciate this D core as a whole. They play a very good bend but don't break style and I think it fits this team perfectly and compliments our all world goalie very well.

As far as the forwards go it nice to see 21 get going a little. He played with a lot of passion all night and was rewarded with a couple of points.

This may sound like a broken record but Hall is just so noticeable on the ice, really a joy to watch live. Also once again I came away impressed with 37. I really hope Hynes rewards him by putting him in better positions to contribute. His point totals are not there but he just seems so confident and comfortable with the puck. Such a heady player and for a 19 year its really impressive, we could be onto something here with him.

Another two points, all is well in Devils land... out west we go!

Somewhere in the replay of watching Lappin's goal again I still came away so happy knowing Hall is on our team. This guy is unbelievably talented.

I'm starting to think Lappin's here to stay, he's had a nice contribution the last couple weeks considering his limited icetime.
