Poehling is a pretty good, cheap 4C. Only just turned 25, so young, big, really fast, plays decent D, can score occasionally too. He was a good add, based on his play so far.

I like Poehling, and think he can be a good 4th liner. But I agree - that's way too many 'vets' for the 4th line.

They need to move Laughton now.

i'm with ya but I can see them keeping Seeler and Hathaway - and being stuck with ND, Risto and Staal. Walker is the only one that should be a guaranteed trade. I'd like to see Laughton, Atkinson and maybe even TK moved but I'm not hopeful.

This is one of those "fine in a vacuum" contracts.

I'd like to see some of these roster players being moved than re-signing, though. A rebuild makes no progress when you one up the status quo.
