I'm not expert, but I think mods are assigned to a board and pretty much keep on eye on things there (you can see a list of mods on the top line of whatever board you're on.)

If you report a post, a message gets sent to some mods that can do what they feel from that point.

Sabres mods are probably not going to come here, just like I wouldn't expect guys like RG and Cowbell to babysit us on the Buffalo board, unless someone reported a post and they responded (but I think that only applies to the Global Mods.)

If you go to their GDT though, a Sabres mod did set them straight.

If you report a post - it is published for ALL MODS to manage. Global mods take care of any board. Local mods can only take action on their home board.

Thus, someone reports a post, random global mod infracts you. The more reports in quick succession, the more likely several mods take action because it's like a riot and everyone responds.

Also, some people report posts that incriminate themselves just as much as the person they're reporting. ;)

Enough mod talk though - I just wanted to set the facts straight.

the devils need to take care of their own business, it would be better if the rangers lose. not counting on it though, they'll probably put up 7 on them or something.

Mostly all we have to do, despite all the loses we still are in decent enough shape because we pretty much control our own fate. Just need to take care of our own business.

Also we can get revenge on the Sabers nonsense on Thursday.

Why don't you go ask your fellow Sabres fans what happened during that game?

Why come here? I don't get it.

They can tell you what occurred just as well as we can. There's really no need for you to come here and ask us such a question even if there's no malice intended.

How about a different perspective perhaps?
How about because most Sabres fans will just say "The Devils fans are *****ing about nothing and are just pissy because they lost.
How about because I can.

The opposition fan base can usually see a fault in another team more glaringly than a homer fan who sees them as positives. Now I know that Devils fans pretty much hate the Sabres, more specifically Kaleta, due to past aggravation but theres no way that any Sabres fan would say that Ennis was talking **** or we were throwing cheap shots. Though a Devils fan's perspective may be a bit exaggerated, I know enough to know where to tone it and how to take it as a fact.

Me too. People don't understand why we hate non division teams. Well I hate Buffalo, and I don't care what people say! I don't bash fanbases because I get along with Rangers fans on this forum, and real life. I get along with some of the guys on the Rangers forum better than most of the people here!:laugh:

Why people feel the need to come on here, and defend their teams honor I don't know.:shakehead

I never had anything against the Sabres either, they were like the Islanders in that they had some likable players (I'm a huge fan of Vanek) and they were never threatening so I had no reason to hate them.

But now I hate them. Kaleta's game is no surprise, but it seems like his dirtbag antics rubbed off on the entire team. If that's the way they want to play, let them. They'll be in for some hard times between now and next Tuesday.

Well, doesnt look like Kaleta will be playing next time we meet regardless (probably suspended after rangers game), so there goes the redemption. maybe now we don't have to play Barch and can play some real hockey instead of payback.
