Now can we all stop complaining about Draisaitl’s contract. He’s going to get 100 points or close to it this season while making less then a lot of high end players now.

Bobby Mac figures it won’t be a 4 year deal due to FA. Doubts it’s a 5 year deal because they won’t want both contracts expiring at the same time. The contract gets expensive when they get to 6-7-8 years as it eats up UFA years.

Which isn't even comparable due to tax differences imo. Marner is basically on the same pace that kucherov ended that season at when he signed his extension.

Marner absolutely deserves at least 11m if Matthews is getting 11.6 from the same team.
