it was 4% retention. He got retention on Ekholm with a 3 say didn’t he? Edit guess not though he did get retention of 25% for 3 years
Or equal to 250k.

Id like 3c with Mcleod back on Leons wing, at least at first.Would the Oilers put Henrique at 2C?
I'd say ideally not, especially if they can grab a winger for Drai.Would the Oilers put Henrique at 2C?

Source on the Pitt sideI knew that @saskytaxi guy was a fraud. Probably tried to get the Oilers fans all riled up but it didn’t work
Wouldn't shock me in the least. Janmark doesn't belong on a scoring line.Would the Oilers put Henrique at 2C?
The tweet literally said that Henrique would be warm to the idea of Edmonton.Imagine getting no one cause the guy you want doesn’t want you.
Most goals scored against the Vegas Golden KnightsA little late to this but glad that Mantha isn't coming here, not the type of player you want in a playoff war. Of course, watch him win the Conn Smythe with Vegas because....Vegas.
I'm good with Henrique if he's the guy and prefer him to Tarasenko because of his versatility (he can play 2nd line wing or 3C). Not sure what the cost would be but I'd think a 2nd+3rd at minimum with retention and probably more for double retention. Buchnevich is my #1 choice (not interested in paying the price for Guentzel) and Henrique would probably be my 2nd choice.
We have 3m in cap space. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that means we could bring in 3 guys with a combined 12m in cap space if they all had double retention?Bob restating that the Oilers want to add with an emphasis on adding not subtracting from the roster. With 3M in cap space they could get a Guentzel, Tarasenko or Buchnevich at 50%.
Hes really pushing for a depth dman and not an upgrade.
I just dont see how you add 3 guys without sending one of Foegele, Ceci or Kulak out.
What about Jeff Jackson?I just don’t see Holland managing a 3 way trade
They’d be replacing someone on the roster, so that’s where it gets tricky with the math. Janmark’s entire 1M could be buried if he was waived. Could probably fit in higher cap hits with that in mind.We have 3m in cap space. Why would they when Vinny is part of one of the best 3rd pairings in the league with Kulak? Ceci has been awful.I’m wondering if oilers are keeping Ceci while also bringing in another top 4 d and pushing Vinny to #7
Wrong. Have a direct source on the penguins side. Western road swing is all it takesI mean no. Just lies I'm sure.
You don't, or share it with usWrong. Have a direct source on the penguins side. Western road swing is all it takes
Holloway down too opens some space as wellThey’d be replacing someone on the roster, so that’s where it gets tricky with the math. Janmark’s entire 1M could be buried if he was waived. Could probably fit in higher cap hits with that in mind.
And yet- nothing happened as predictedWrong. Have a direct source on the penguins side. Western road swing is all it takes
Thanks you are right but that 250k allowed us to also add bugstad and it was for 3 years.it was 4% retention.
Or equal to 250k.
