That Philly/Vegas/Nash trade is pretty interesting. Not really sure what to make of it. Will be interesting to see how it works out for each team in a couple years.

$11M in cap space to get a 3C, top 6F, starting goalie, depth piece plus new contracts for Larsson or replacement and Yamo.

Having an extra 2 or 3 million could help with that list.
Yeah I see a lot of this.

"We need this, this, this, this, that and this or else we're f***ed."

I don't think it's worth a real response to be honest.

Was Philly the only rumoured team to also be in on Larsson? Who’s left now? Hopefully this makes Lars decision easier.

Should’ve paid that to a left D who can still play hockey well.
No one knows how he’ll do next year. It’s speculation that he can’t play hockey well anymore. If you ask Hawks fans that watched him, they’ll tell you he can still play.

You have to be cap compliant by day 1 of the season so you can't really say the Klefbom $4 million doesn't count. It counts relative to the roster the Oilers can build in the off-season.

They get cap relief but only after the season starts.

At what level?
At a 2LD level. Here’s the thing though, Keith played on a tire fire team. It’s not out of the realm of possibility that his performance takes an uptick on a better Oilers team. Especially considering his offence will be boosted playing with the likes of McDrai.

It's not out of the realm of possibility-indeed it's quite probable-that he's done.
