Richard Lintner - Rögle

I don't see any of those players making the team.

Rastislav Pavlikovsky - Hm, I dunno. But probably not.

Peter Cehlarik - way too young, won't even be considered. Definitely showed a lot of potential playing the way he did in the Swedish men's league.

Ladislav Nagy - no, his time is over. Can bring nothing to the table compared to other players.

Richard Lintner - will be commentating on Slovak TV, not playing.

Miroslav Šatan (Slovan Bratislava/KHL) :handclap:
Marcel Haščák (HC Košice/Extraliga) ;)

out:
Michael Vandas (HK Poprad/Extraliga) :(
Ján Laco (Donbass Doneck/KHL) - injury...

And maybe Ivan Baranka (Salavat)?

Baranka is injured... the same as Meszároš (Flyers/NHL), Kudroč (Sibir/KHL), Starosta (Yugra/KHL), Mikuš (Lev/KHL), Mikúš (Slovan/KHL), Bartovič (Slovan/KHL) etc. :(

Kopecky confirmed - YAY!!! :handclap:

I definitely want to see Dano make it.

For the last spot, I really don't know. All three seem like a reasonable choice.

I'm disappointed with nomination of Surový and Bartek, they were invisible in pre-WC games and didn't deserved the roster spot. On the other side, Daňo and Šťastný have impressed me with their play around the net area, hitting everything and creating a lot of chances and they definitely deserve to be in WC. Daňo-Šťastný-Haščák could be a great fourth line but...
I think that Haščák take one spot and the second one is between Daňo and Šťastný.

He had a bad season and he is without contract, so he rejected.

And good news: there is still chance, that Marián Gáborík could join the team, he has some examinations is Philadelphia tomorrow. If the tests goes well and he won't need a surgery, he will join the team.

He is tired after long season and refused to be invited. I am fine with that, he has been on each WC since 2004.

Just to give a bit more context: At least twice during the season he got so tired that he had to take a break from playing. Due to taking part in nine consecutive Worlds and going all the way to the KHL finales for the second year in a row he has been playing from September to May every year since he was 20 years old. He deserves (and needs) a break IMO even though he'd be a No.1 D-man on our current team.
