Pilut is good, but is one of the players who will benefit from some time down there. The better his opponent got, the more overwhelmed he became, even if he still made some good plays.

I suspect the board melts down and calls for Housley's head on a platter, but Pilut will be up by November and won't go back down again.

As long as he does well in the AHL and is appropriately called up within a few months I’m fine with it.

I'm seeing that idea of Guhle is locked now. I don't buy it, unless Bogosian is out long term.

I didn't watch last night. I don't think Guhle was better than at any point than Pilut that I seen. Neither was mistake free though.

Does it benefit the team tho if they are below 500 coming out of the first month?

I am not saying they will be but if Guhle and Beauleau line is getting pounded each and every night, I fail to see any benefit.

I'm excited for Guhle, but I still think that third pairing will get worked.

I would've kept Pilut up over Guhle and Nelson, but as long as Beaulieu isn't in the line up I'll be content.

Housley sucks but sending Pilut to Roch to play top minutes was my preference. He’s going to be a good NHLer no need to rush it. I think Guhle will also get sent down if sooner than later depending on injuries. Plus Pilut can’t get the Antipin treatment down there.

Botterill makes the roster decisions, though I'm sure with input from Housley.

While I can get onboard with some good old fashion Housley hate (hit him with your purse Phil!), let's blame the right person for the moves you do or do not like.

Now when Beaulieu is in the lineup every game for some inexplicable reason, that's all on Housley.
