The Devils allowed their young studs to become young studs and now they're in the mix for another stud at the beginning of his prime...

The Rangers suppressed their young studs to the point they're considered busts, added a washed up version of Tarasenko, are about to add a washed up version of Kane... wasted and traded several 1st round picks...

Same old Rongos. Same old Devils doing everything right.
You’re right about Rongos rongoing but the Devils haven’t won a series in 11 years and only made the playoffs once. You suck long enough you’re gonna be good eventually that’s just how this league works. Look at the Sabres they’re next

Not if it's the Rangers. Hockey's different here. They'll cough up the 2024 and a conditional 2025 1st with bullshit conditions that are all but a lock to be met.
KEEP the 2026 first rounder and get a couple more if possible....special player coming in Gavin McKenna . He just broke Canada Games hockey record for points ...think -Kariya-McKinnon-Crosby......while playing for of all teams , the Yukon . He played 44 minutes in a game against the host PEI......something special !!! Google him !

Agreed. Don't think I could handle watching a LD of Miller, Mikkola, and Harpur down the stretch.
Harpur cannot be on the playoff roster.....it is that simple . He is a big guy and he had his chances to endear himself to his teammates yesterday and he never got involved . Stu Bickel was better . Can we get Big Buff in shape in time for the playoffs ??? Dear old friend of Kane and Panarin ....maybe he would be the new messiah for the Rangers !!!

"Devils doing everything right"

NJ has been out of the playoffs for 9 of the last 10 yrs.. This is the first time in a DECADE that they're playing well and seeing some things come to fruition. All of the sudden they're the Real deal? I'm not saying they're not a good team, playing well, etc. but if you've watched hockey for any length of time, you've seen this scenario playing out over and over again with teams out of contention for a long time. We saw it last year with the NYR.

The success of Hughes has made a legion of ranger fans resent their top picks to the point of calling them busts.

NJ didn't have several star players on their roster prior to drafting these studs. Not an apples to apples comparison comparison here.

Now anytime the NYR add a player at the deadline its: "same old rongos"... BS!

Did you complain last year when they went to the ECF, 2 wins away from the SCF?

i'm not ready to call Tarasenko and Kane a bust. I'll give it a few more months.

Haven’t looked at Dallas’ cap situation but it sounds like they have started pursuing other options other than Kane. From what was being written by reporters yesterday that while it really is down to just the Rangers, Dallas was the other team that might be considered. Vegas and Edmonton were a no

So getting caught up… we can’t win games, we lost Kravtsov for nothing & we aren’t any better today than yesterday
no it's called a slump after coming off a hot streak of pts in 10g and a salary dump to make room for superstar for a playoff push. The Star hasn't played yet for the team.

Keep Lindgren on LTIR until playoffs. Have him practice with the team a week out.

Trade for Kane. - Jones and a 3rd
Trade for Chychrun @ 50%- 2023 1st- 2024 conditional 1st - prospect not named Cuylle, BMB or Othmann.

If that roster doesn't win a cup over the next 3 playoffs, we're cursed.

Probably not, the rosters are getting worse and worse.

Competitive teams literally can't afford full rosters.
Not enough character guys.....I bet no one on here hated the Devil-Ranger games in 94 or before or after for that matter . People were entertained ....once the first 2 series are done....the hockey is not worth watching anymore . The emotion has been removed . Hockey is a sport that HAS to be played with emotion ...it is when it is at it's best.....emotion and adrenaline . Thank You Bettman . NOT !

I’m curious if the majority here watch other sports or only hockey? I absolutely only watch hockey
Ranger hockey-Blue Jay BB and women's curling along with women's track and field and women's beach volleyball......I kind of have a theme going .....Women's golf also very entertaining .

Sabres just needed to get rid of Eichel.

Who would have thought? Tage would be better than Eichel

He also had one of his patented stuff in attempts stopped. He definitely generates offense when he’s on the ice and attacks the net.
His speed will be really missed . He will get a much better chance in Ottawa on an improving club closer to his home and with some guys he played junior with . It seemed like he was used badly in NY....but if he had hit a bit more he also likely would have played more . Gallant and crew possibly could have spent more time with him and gave him a bigger part considering how bad the RW spot is this year and likely next year . We used him like a wet rag and threw him out with the dishwater . Good Luck Gaut !

Trading for Chychrun would mean getting rid of Trouba/Kreider/Goodrow/Lindgren in some combination this off-season to re-sign all our RFA’s.
