Signing Nate Thompson before re-signing Roslovic was the sign for me that he was going to get moved out to Vegas in a trade for a D-man.

My long-shot guess was Schmidt + Reaves for Roslovic + Sbisa.

Why would he be part of the deal in that situation? Vegas would have essentially burned all bridges with him immediately and only saved $4 million in cap AAV at the same time. We'll see what happens, but this idea lacks a certain degree of common sense in my mind.

Not saying it makes a huge difference but Wheeler, Stastny and Schmidt have the same agent so there could be some discussion going on between them. Interesting situation.
