Habs better get Goulet under contract on the spot. That kid is great. Hard worker with golden hands, speed, vision. Is going to play with a high-end goal scorer in Sprong this year. A very interesting prospect, I cannot believe he wasn't drafted.

That's a free quality Quebecois prospect right there.

It's our nation's sport and the Montreal Canadiens just a couple more of the best parts, IMHO.:handclap::handclap:

Don't think they can attend as I believe school has started for them...

As for Lekhonen & Reway, I believe they're currently playing in the Champions League Hockey...so doubt they'd leave their respective teams to attend a rookie camp

Did I miss the news that we were inviting Zachary Yuen? That's kind of interesting, he was one of my late round targets in the mock draft back in 2011. A lot of people were surprised that WPG let him go in 2013 and expected him to get re-drafted (he was not, obviously).

Some interesting names out there for sure. Justin Baker has pretty good numbers for a defenseman at the College level. Hill and Schmalz have intriguing size (6'06 +). Eberle is here again. Goulet didn't look out of place at the camp this summer. College guys Carr and Sorkin. Plus all the guys we drafted.

It will be an interesting year for sure.

Nothing too earth shattering. No surprises. Maybe Gill and Yuen.

Was once a fan of Brace. A great example of how progression can stop in a player. That's his case. It just stopped at one point. We'll see what he does. Happy to see Goulet and Gadoury there. Would have hoped that Szmatula impressed enough to be back but then...he's in the NCAA. And it seems nobody of our NCAA guys are there either. There's nothing to see out of Schmalz and Momesso. So not a lot of imagination in our invitees except Hill who is interesting. I'm particularly interested to see how Nick Sorkin will do and what are the plans for him. On D, Yuen is interesting to see. Curcuruto and Wardley might already be at the last chance they have to shine. Don't know Baker. Good size. Good stats with, the most important thing, good improvement. On G...there's really nothing to see. Would have hoped for somebody else than Piperny.

So, frankly, some bad, some good, the best is that we'll concentrate where it counts the most. The REAL guys that have a REAL chance at making it. Andrighetto vs Sekac vs De La Rose. Guys like Holland and Thomas needs to continue their work at the development camp and crush that rookie camp.

Not gonna lie.. It will be stupid of the Habs to not offer Gadoury a deal. Low risk and at minimal I think he'll end up a scorer at the AHL level which we can always use.
