Pryor is very good at what he does now, he's got a good eye for talent evaluation.
Peter Principle.
Was here pre-Hextall too.

I will be absolutely unbearable on here. Even more than usual.I may LITERALLY throw up tomorrow if Hak gets support from Homer and Dave Scott.
The size of his ballsac has never been in question. No matter what your opinion of Homer is, I think we can all agree that he has some of the biggest balls in the hockey world.
I thought Yzerman stepped down to be closer to his family in Michigan. Is he actually an option?
People may not want to admit it but Ed was the Jerry Jones of hockeyDead, you have to remember that Homer was also GM under an aging Snider who wanted a cup win before his death. Yes they sacrificed picks for wasted bandaids that hurt us in the later years, but Ed certainly had a big hand in that.
I will be absolutely unbearable on here. Even more than usual.
Everyone is warned.

My smugness and anger will flood this board.
I'll be right behind you, but not of my own free will.I'll be admitting myself to the psych ward tomorrow if that happens.
A part of that is on him. Everyone one but Giroux, Simmonds and MacDonald on the current Flyers were signed by Hextall.Hextall never went for it because the two playoff teams he had in four full years as GM weren't close to being Cup contenders.
We'll quickly find out.Theyve taken away your likes. They can take more. :p
Oh ShitPeople may not want to admit it but Ed was the Jerry Jones of hockey
Holmgren went for it every year and that had some unfortunate consequences. Hextall never went for it. How do you compare the two?

I think he's reading a little too much into this move...
The problem is there's no reason to believe they'll be able to intelligently choose who is expendable and who to target.Given we have to make room for like 20 prospects over the next 3 years, I'm totally fine with trading draft picks for NHL talent.
