Good Char-Gril > just about everything else. The one by the PNC center is amazeballs.
But I've gone to other Char-Gril locations and came away very disappointed.

Five Guys has the best burgers.

Grew up next to a Char-Gril, never liked it. I'd actually take a Backyard Burger over a CG all day.

Five Guys is undoubtedly the best.

My problem with Char-Grill is like halleJOKEL and others said. If I'm gonna spend that much on a hamburger, it better be jaw dropping, which it isn't. It's kinda cool filling out the paper and all, and I get why they charge extra for bacon and cheese etc, but making me pay for lettuce? lol

Cookout has 10x the selection also and cost a 1/10 of what Char does.

The Prosecution rests, your Honor.

Touché.

People don't only enjoy greasy food when they're drunk.

They give themselves permission because they're drunk.

Thanks to science, we can blame it on... science.

William Gruchow, a professor at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, has studied and written about galanin and its effects on various neurotransmitters. "Galanin increases appetite for fats, and consumption of fat causes more galanin to be produced," Gruchow said. "Alcohol intake also results in increased galanin production."

What a shock, the prof from whole hog county says we should eat more :sarcasm:

Now I know why some on this board are so vehemently opposed to it.

I am opposed to it, because at cookout I can get a vast, abundant feast of cheddar and outwest style burgers (not a huge fan of steak style) with cajun chicken breast and a side of chicken nuggets complete with luscious sticks of celery and graciously coated in my choice of sauce, a glorious 6 inches of heaven in the form of a mouth watering mexi dog all completed with a resplendent Cheerwine float...

...all for the same price of a bacon burger at Char.

That's literally every thread on this board

Trying to find tangible information on this board is like trying to navigate the hedge maze in "The Shining", which I think is part of the appeal of this board :D

Bye.

Let's get this back on track... everybody share everything you know about Roland McKeown as a hockey player. I'll go first.

Roland McKeown (born January 20, 1996) is a Canadian junior ice hockey defenceman. He is currently playing with the Kingston Frontenacs in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). McKeown was selected by the Los Angeles Kings in the second round (50th overall) of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. On February 25, 2015, McKeown was traded to the Carolina Hurricanes, along with a conditional 1st round pick in exchange for veteran defenceman Andrej Sekera.

I know he was scouted and drafted by a team that isn't the Carolina Hurricanes, so he's probably pretty good.

Plus, he's captain of the Frontenacs.

 Love the food talk in here.

Anyways nice to have McKeown on board. Perhaps within a few years we could not only have a competitive NHL team but a decent crop of prospects to call up too.

McKeown strikes me as the type that would prefer cookout over char grill, I'm happy with the signing.

Insert post pretending to know something about a player I've never watched here.

Give insanely lofty expectations here.

Say you're very happy here.

Not sure that McKeown is gonna be first pairing guy but he's probably safe pick for at least #4 dman.
