tbf Olofsson and Simpson have been staples of the SO crew so far this season, I think this is the 1st one to go past 3 rounds. Next time I'm sure he'll be called upon much sooner.
Do you guys that have seen alot of Amerks have list of possibles different than party line. ?. Crisc and Redmond do well but dont see them ever in nhl etc..

Have you seen anything first hand or entire games this year?

Yup, I've gone to a few games this year. Gonna go to another one next Friday. Nylander has sort of been quietly productive, you never saw him putting up the multi-point games or going super hot like Pilut or Olofsson, but he's contributed all season long. He's a great all around player who's finally started to find his game. Regarding your question on Redmond and Criscuolo, Remond can't be called up as he is on an AHL-only deal. Criscuolo has looked solid after coming back from his injury. Putting up 10 pts in 16 GP, and 5pts in his last 5 games. I'm not really sure if he'll crack the NHL. At best he might make it as a 4th line center in this organization but not any better. His future being here depends entirely on what we plan to do with our other center depth, he'll probably get a qualifying offer and sign a 1 year deal in the offseason.

EDIT: Nvm, Criscuolo is 26 which means he'll be a UFA at the end of the season. I guess we'll see what happens then.

yea thought crisc. Redmond and many others were ahl only from time up at buff.. was wondering time frame if ever, of the depth chart regarding the need for competant winger and tradw for two-theee C in order to really compete this year or next.. ie Asplund Oregan etc and the rest that may will themselves to help out now, Guhle doesnt look ready and dont need unless injury etc ,, thank you though.

Nylander has two regulation goals in his last 13 games. He scores some flashy goals which grabs everyone's attention and then it's quickly forgetten how he was invisible. Consistency is his biggest issue.

God forbid someone come up who can get points on the powerplay. Can’t have that.

He's racked up a lot of points this season though, isn't it fair to say he's developing into being a playmaker rather than a sniper?

Dear lord, VO just had the puck laid for him on a platter 5 feet in front and missed high. Not sure what’s going on with him.

Nylander with a fantastic pass after curling up just inside the blue line to spring Simpson and he cranks it off the pipe with the back hand.

So where is the consistancy from 8 point tage thompson? Or is there some politics going on?

"Despite a lighter month of production on the scoresheet, the Nylander has been, arguably, the most consistent player for the Amerks this season."

lol ok.. lighter month. That doesn't scream consistency there for a player who's expected to put up points.

More to the game of hockey than just point production. And Nylander isn't the kind of player who's only good for scoring and nothing else.
