I kind of feel a bit for Lochte at times. He could've had a ton of medals if he didn't exist the same exact time as Phelps.

He's still one of the most decorated Olympians ever, he's just also a ********* so everyone looks past it.

Ashton Eaton with back to back golds for the US in the decathlon. That's the most impressive to me. 20 total events, but only two medals. Totally worth it.

Nah he didn't slow down enough to miss out on a WR. It was a slow final (rain). De Grasse ran faster in the semis messing around with Bolt than he did in the final.

He probably could have went 19.5-19.6 in ideal conditions. He's not in 19.19 shape. Honestly, Nobody is touching that record for a long time.

Amazing, its such a small amount of time, yet we speak about it like its impossible.

This thing (19.19) and his runs for 9.63 and later 9.58 are probably the most impossible things come true I have ever seen. (I mean thought to be impossible at the time I was watching)

Edit - also the 9.69 run in Beijing 2008 was ridiculous. Fist pumping and slowing down after something like 50m already..?

Guess I should've kept my mouth shut lol. Well played by Brazil.

Haha:laugh:

Too bad Finland only has one thrower in the javelin final. This was our only chance for the brighter medals and we only have one guy there.

This guy is declining and got qualified. But he's been fantastic in the past.

What a meet for USA T&F mid distance and distance teams. 5 medals. M800, 1500 mens and women's, 3000SC mens and women's. Amazing stuff. The country is known for the sprints, hurdles, and field but haven't made much noise in the longer events until now. Its a real treat if you follow this sort of stuff.

Holy ****, add another! 2nd in mens 5000. Incredible.
