Is it me or it's crazy cheap? Even Lekhonen got 2.4 as a bridge deal (4th season if i'm not mistaken)
Totally different case.

Pitlick was waived twice in a year. His shooting percentage with the Wilds was a crazy 46% and it went down to 17% with the Habs. He only kept his production because his TOI was almost double with the Habs, but it is unlikely he plays as much next season. That only happened because of all the injuries.

They basically chose Pitlick over Poehling
Rightfully so ! Poehling , along with Petry and Dvorak all looked like they checked out after the first month of the season. Hu-Go pointed out during a presser when St-Louis came in that one of his most important mandates was to asses the locker room and weed out the crap ( without using these exact words)
If we had anyone in Laval ready to step up at C, I would expect Dvorak to be the next one escorted out the building; and Armia right after that.
I’m all for keeping a bunch of veterans during a rebuilding period, but only the ones that play like they actually give a fudge.

I'd still expect something to get done with Dvorak and/or Anderson.

Hoffman is negative value, IMO. If we had cap space, I'd move him to Philly for JVR since they need space this year. But we don't until we know what's happening with Price.

Drouin, honestly best to keep him and hope he plays well enough to bring a 2nd at the deadline. It's a contract year for him and he should get a ton of icetime.

Byron may be moveable if we retain 50% Although we could also bury him for $1.125M in relief.

Plus I fully expect Price to not be ready to start the season.
Your Drouin prédiction makes sense, players have a knack for making magic happen when they’ve playing for a new contract. But you really have to wonder sometimes if he actually wants to keep playing after his contract expires. He reminds me so much of Alexandre Daigle.

Yes, and I would have chosen Pitlick and Poehling and the futures we could get in Anderson trade over Andrrson.

I was hoping for a 1 year deal buy for 1.1 can’t really complain

I think the more years the better at that cap hit. He can be buried in the AHL and not count against the cap if he doesn't play well.
