On Monday, following the Sabres’ first practice without center Casey Mittelstadt, a beloved teammate, defenseman Rasmus Dahlin felt his absence.

Sabres winger Jordan Greenway, who missed Saturday’s game after Dahlin high-sticked him in the face Thursday, is expected to play against Detroit.

Interesting that to my eye our Moneypuck playoff odds (1.4%) didn't improve at all after last night's trifecta. Likely just shows that winning these remaining games against DET/NYI is the critical path. Still, that number feels low to me.

Getting this win would put some game/standings pressure on the Wings though, which isn't accounted for in the models.

My wife's from Sterling Heights, MI north of Detroit and is a rabid Wings fan. It's always fun to beat them. But I have to admit I like the Detroit people - they are a lot like Buffalonians.
