Gonna be interesting to see what kind lineup Tippett goes with. I know we have a damn good PK, but there are now quite a few guys that are doing nothing other than PK. At some point these guys need to bring more.

I’m guessing that our effort will be a lot better than the Philly game and we will outplay Detroit but end up losing.

The second line is looking good. Nuge and Neal and whomever work.

There is definitely secondary scoring this year.

I'm thinking we play a bit of a stinker but eek one out in overtime with some McDrai magic. 3-2 Oilers in OT. Goals from Chiasson and Neal in regulation. Both on the powerplay.

Back-to-backs don’t really mean much this early in the season IMO.
And Edmonton's worst games this season have been against teams on back-to-backs. They happened to win those games, but not by outworking and taking advantage of a tired team. Hopefully, this starts a trend of jumping on teams that are on back-to-backs.

Looks like Howard is starting tonight so we’ll probably get Bernier tomorrow. I think we’re going to need some depth players to outscore the Wings depth. There are few lines that can produce with our top line right now, but the Larkin/Mantha/Bertuzzi line might have a chance. McDavid must be salivating looking at that Wings D though.
