MacArthur is a great player. Carlyle misplayed him, plain and simple. ~20 goal scorers don't grow on trees.

The only problem was losing him for nothing. Barely played him in playoffs an coulda got a return

For me.

I'm thinking long term. I want the Sens to make it because they'll not only be crushed, but their management will think Hammond is the real deal, trade away Lehner/Anderson (who go on to be amazing elsewhere), and Hammond will predictably flop.

At least I got some purpose.
