I just re-watched the Emery-Biron and Emery-Peters fights on YouTube. At no point in either of those fights did the smile leave Ray's face. He was having the time of his life and I'll never forget how much fun it was to watch. RIP.

Love Ray. Amazing net presence. Such a lose. Super creative and intelligent guy, he took us farther then any goalie ever has.

He saved the Sens season they went to the finals. That regular season game he came back from injury and beat Buffalo when Ottawa started the finals run after that - biggest regular season game win in Sens history and Rays competitiveness, presence and confidence is what turned that season around for us.

Ray Emery might be the all time greatest Binghamton Senators goalie. 76 career regular season wins with Binghamton and led the AHL in shut outs one year with them. Would be a nice gesture to induct him into the Binghamton Senators Sports Hall of Fame. I’m sure it would mean a lot to his family.
