RAW would still be too stacked. 3/4 horsewomen + Emma is crazy good.

Drew cuts a promo about how he could of went to RAW or SD, but chose NXT and he will become NXT champion.

Nakamura cuts a promo saying thank you to NXT. Puts everyone over and hugs it out with Finn, Itami, and HHH.

Roode cuts a promo about how he is awesome. He sold out Amway center and Nakamura is a chump. Itami comes out and slaps the taste out of his mouth and they brawl.

Itami vs Roode!?!? I can get behind that!

Good move to get Itami in there, although they should make him win a #1 contender's match or something. Get him in, do the match, get him up to the main roster.

I said in the NXT thread that they should have a throw away match for Roode this Takeover, and surgested Dillinger for that roll. But with him being called up I think Itami is a great guy to use, and he should be shown the door afterward and head to the main roster.

That gives you time to build who ever is going to be next (Storg/Ohno/Galloway/Black/Young/Almas/other).


This is very clearly a new class of NXT now that Nakamura is gone, and hopefully Itami too after this program.

Tye won the cage match. Everybody did their run-ins. Eric Young did a elbow off the top of the cage. Sounds like Tye did a spot off the top of the cage to escape, so EY didn't take the pin. Kassius Ohno and Roderick Strong held him up on their shoulders as the crowd serenaded him. Has to be a special moment for that crowd and for Tye.

Ruby Riot defeats Kimberly Frankele - Nikki Cross was at ringside via the crowd.
Andrade Cien Almas defeats Danny Burch
Drew McIntyre defeats Oney Lorcan - McIntyre doesn’t have his old theme . Post match promo, says he’s better than all the Raw and Smackdown talent, but wanted to come to NXT and for the title.

Authors of Pain defeat Kassuius Ohno & Roderick Strong - Ohno pinned clean.
Jeet Rama defeats John Skyler
Bobby Roode in-ring promo - Says he is glorious, it’s his NXT, and he chases Nakamura away. Hideo Itami confronts him and beats him up.
Tyler Bate defeats Jack Gallagher in a UK title match - Trent Seven, Pete Dunne, Mark Andrews, and Wolfang are at ring side.

26rh April
Liv Morgan & Aliyah defeat Billie Kay & Peyton Royce
Nikki Cross calls Ruby Riot to the ring, say they should be friends. They fight brawl.
Drew McIntye defeats Andrade Cien Almas
Alesister Black defeats Kona Reeves
Ruby Riot is attacked by Nikki Cross while heading to the ring for a match, they brawl again.
Tye Dillinger defeat Eric Young in a steel cage match.


They'll probably switch the UK and cage matches around for TV, if the promo was correct on the first episode. It's fairly common for them to save the big match for the end of a taping so that's, so it's not surprising to see them out of order here.

He speculates from the TV that a Bliss/Charlotte swap will happen, but doesn't have any concrete info.

The Drifter is supposed to be called up next week, and so is Almas (even though he was at the NXT tapings).

Not necessarily when it comes to AJ. AJ should still be a heel going to Raw and use G&A and maybe Finn to turn AJ face if they really want him to be that. It'd be nice to see a Finn/AJ program with G&A involved.
