I figure NYR have no reason to move someone off their roster, unless it's the absolutely only way to free cap space for another move... otherwise, Kakko is likely a summertime move, with his contract expiring it'll be a question of who is willing to commit to him.

I have to say I see a parallel with Newhook, in that a couple of picks in the 25-40 range likely get it done, *if* NYR have decided to move on from him.
