Barron probably wins this in a landslide, but I'm still voting Keane.

We've had Barron in the system longer than Lindgren.
Fine, but that does not change the feeling. The point was not about how long either has been in the system. Virtually no one was talking about Morgan. No one knew about him until there were a few write ups. I like him but wow....

Gorton is the real bro for drafting so many NCAA prospects so that I can actually see them play.

Too many years of having exactly no idea if guys like Thomas, McColgan, Iverson, Grachev, or St. Croix are actually any good or if they're just Canadian Juniors producers.

Few people, maybe. I watch way more ECAC games than non-Ranger NHL games, though, so I've been talking about him since last year.

IDK, man. If you follow the prospects thread at all, he burst onto the radar pretty early his Freshman season. And in the last poll we did, he was 14th, so it's not as if he has shot up the list or anything, he's in the same ballpark as he was last time.

I really like Lindgren, you guys know I'm always talking him up. He's my next to go. Barron is a very good prospect as well, though. Not the sure-thing that Lindgren is but he's a versatile forward who I believe has second line potential.

Also re: Barron. There were a few of the pro writers on Twitter that mentioned him as a really good pick, potential gem, etc. CSS had him #98 among NA skaters as well, so people were interested in him before he played a college game. Same stuff behind the interest in Hughes last year and Ciccolini this year. Some places ranked them solidly, some people said they were late round picks to watch, etc.
