One thing I wanna point out too, NSHs blueline can really fire the puck. Weber of course, but Jones and Josi also has real good shots. On top of that, Ekholm is a real good shooter. Was a PP bomber specialist in the SHL a few years ago. This is a problem we have, only Klein really that can shoot hard.
This is an important ingredients in the game today with how teams are playing defense, often sacrificing a point.
On top of this, with how teams are playing D, maybe gap controll and mobility are a bit "less" important. IE in the sense that just having a somewhat avg D in terms of ability defenaively really don't seem to hurt many teams, it's like with the modern training and support, back check etc, of today Ds aren't exposed as much if they just are decent in these areas.
In the future, I certainly wouldn't mind if we looked more at how potential draft picks on the back end fires the puck.
