Jeez. He's played 26 pro games since he's been drafted, and is one of the youngest players in the AHL. He missed a full year of hockey due to a hip injury. Prior to that he was one of the highest ranked players in a strong draft.
People need to exercise patience. Wow.
I have been following this same line of thinking since the season began and poster after poster has come on in Utica to say he has to average a PPG or he won't make it. Their leniency for his "patience" due to last season is half a year. I believe he is now playing out last year and that is the reason for his problems. Next season is the one concern should be expressed over if he continues as he is now. I think we will see a much improved Hunter next season. He'll be a very young 21.
