Cole got a very borderline one early in the game, against Holliday I think? Other than that our pitchers absolutely painted the black. Cards hitters crying time and time again made me happy. How about tip your cap? Nah just cry about the pitch being too perfect instead.

Gerrit Cole is an ace, period. How many times has he stepped up huge after a tough loss the day prior? He's going to be a great one for a long time.

Pedro with a big day and the bats in general were working all afternoon.

Bullpen was a little shaky but they didn't break.

But how can he be? Trevor Bauer made it to the Majors first!

I can't believe anyone could ever have believed that Bauer was a better prospect than Cole.
