Great effort, total hustle and got the job done.
Makar's hit was just stupid and cost us our best goalscorer. Absolutely disgusting. He'll better be wearing a full helmet for the next games....

Overall we've got to be more efficient with our chances cause we could've made it 3-0 or 4-0 before they even scored.

Though, overall great effort and very well played game forcing the defending champs in a tough and long series.
Also great to get a win at home, for the fans, and we're now also having a third home game.

The Bunting hit on Cernak got him 3 games suspension. It was a high hit to the head that injured Cernak, but in the course of regular play. The puck was somewhat in the area. Not in the netting on the other side of the rink. Just as dangerous and intentional though.

We'll see if NHL DPS has different rules for different jerseys. The Makar hit was actually worse than Bunting in that you can see Makar knew McCann had let up from the one angle and went head hunting with his upper arm/elbow to his head anyway.

Makar's excuses (1) he didn't know where the puck was and (2) blame the victim are more like admissions.
