Oh boy. I can't help but think Portugal will be fodder. But I thought that before that match, too.
Least deserving semifinalist in a long time.
I will never forget that match. Ever.Brazil was just two years ago and I don't consider the way they lost in the SF when saying that. Uruguay also handballed their way to an SF after only beating Mexico and South Korea.
Yeah yeah they won some games but those were all undeserved. Anyone can go through those threads, they were totally bogus.

Meh, it still seems much more impressive than Portugal tying Austria and Hungary.
The teardrop tattoo or tear tattoo is a symbolic tattoo of a tear that is placed underneath the eye. The tattoo can have various meanings: it can signify that the wearer has killed someone[1] or has spent time in prison;[2] that the wearer was raped while incarcerated[3][4] or it can acknowledge the loss of a family or fellow gang member. Sometimes, only the wearer will know the exact meaning of the tattoo.[4][5]
Quaresma is of partial Romani descent,[37] earning him the nickname O Cigano (The Gypsy).[46] Speaking of an alleged racial slur towards him by an opponent in 2014, he said "When I hear people say there is no racism nowadays it makes me laugh. When something happens in Portugal it's always fault of gypsies, blacks, immigrants. It's tough to live with this."[46]
Why is Quaresma crying all the time?
Probably because when he and Ronaldo were both at Sporting he was widely regarded as the greater talent, and since Barcelona his career has been a how to guide in not fulfilling great potential.
So now he finally near the end of his career has done something for Portugal.
I think Portugal deserves to be in the semifinal. It's good to have chance to watch more of Ronaldo and Sanches in the tournament as well.
It would be bloody disgraceful, especially since Portugal play an ugly style of football. Greece at least won 3 times within the 90 back in 2004.
I feel awful for Poland.
Portugal is #notgood

That's literally the only positive thing about this, IMO.
Deserve? They don't deserve anything after failing to win a single 90 minute game and flaming Iceland on their defensive tactics (which were much less defensive than Portugal's against Croatia).
This game was a disgrace. I hope either Wales or Belgium gives Portugal the boot. Ridiculous
Feeling like 2004.
Everyone wants to see Ronaldo fail and no one is praising Pepe for being the best defender in the tournament so far.
What no they werent, Portugal had more than 70% possession at times vs Iceland
We tried to win playing great soccer that enamored the casual fans, Euro 2000, Euro 2004 etc, and it didnt work.
Yes do i not like the pragmatic boring **** Santos plays, especially due to the talent coming up now...but in the end it gets results.
