Hey guys,

I have a personal situation to attend to, as previously mentioned, that is going to require me to spend a lot less time running the tournament series. I have arranged to have JaredCowenFan continue running the series and I will be helping out in the background to keep things organized. Please click the link above to check out the new thread where signups and everything will continue.

The AHL tournament is next, I hope everyone sticks around and continues playing. There shouldn't be any difference in how things work. Good luck to everyone and thank you for participating, it has been a blast and I appreciate the kind words and support.

I will keep a waiting list for this purpose. Signups for each new tournament will be accepted on beginning on the last day that the previous one ends. 4 days for round robin, 4 days for playoffs, 2 days for signups. Pretty light schedule to handle a minimum of four games.

Yes, you can select any team in each tier regardless of anyone elses choice.

Wait, can we choose whoever we want? I was under the impression you took whoever was available. Doesn't bother me alot either way, I will choose a team I am comfortable with and like.

EDIT: Ignore, NE got me by a minute. I guess I will be playing some VS. to find out which teams I like. Already played some with the 3 I selected and it was meh. The Hawks were good, Nashville was meh, but the Isles worked alright. Gonna try to switch it up a little.

Also NE, I would switch the Wild and Devils tiers. Minny takes forwards and defense, and by the time we play the tourny the new roster update might be out and Kuemper will gain some points. Just an opinion.

I changed one of the playoff rules from "you can use any team in any tier" to "you can use any team from any tier that you have NOT used before."

This series is a test of overall skill ability, not who's team better rated by EA.
