Nuke has set up a few opportunities and seems responsible defensively and on rushes. I like him. And Kaut has gotten much stronger, anyone can see this.

Nuke still needs to score. Getting an assist once in a blue moon isn’t gonna cut it.

Kaut definitely has gotten stronger, but he’s still not where he needs to be. He needs at least one more year of AHL/offseason training before we can start talking about him making the Avs.

I'd say he is what he is at this stage of his career. He's clearly hungry to make the NHL, he's working hard, and he's showing some nice flashes of skills. I could see him playing some NHL games for the Avs this year. I doubt he's going to develop into a much better player than he is right now regardless of where he plays though.
