Wow.. this list is going to be pretty sad.. anyone remember the results from last year? Atleast the top 5-10 or so?

13. Angello
14. Almari

I feel like these polls should be done after the prospect camp/tournament. That is when most people get to watch and compare the players against one another.

Look at all those Leafs fans voting Hallander lmao. Put him on every poll.

I really don't go on other boards often. Sometimes, rarely, but usually to ask a question, share something useful. Or someone I know and haven't spoken to in a while is there.

But going to another team's board to vote on a poll to pump a newly acquired traded player is pretty insecure and pathetic.

I just go to watch the reactions as the silent stalker that I am.

Not as often as you would think. But at times I have done that. We all have.

They wouldn't have a word for it if it weren't an integral part of human nature. Schadenfreude.

Especially certain teams and fan bases. Not Toronto though. They fall into the I don't care about, or think of them, often vast majority of NHL teams for me.

Marino at #18 on a pretty mediocre list. Shows how much we know.

Marino only signed his ELC at the time of vote number 18 as well, which didn't help.

But yeah. I'm guessing a lot of people thought we were probably rating Marino a little low and that he'd rise a bit in this year's, but didn't know him well enough to take him higher. Next thing we know...

Yeah Marino was added very late into the poll. It wasn't possible to rank him above that.

Poulin is obviously number one, but I think Maniscalco should rank 2nd. Then POJ 3rd.

I'm pretty certain I listed Marino as our top prospect and thought he'd immediately be capable of performing like a top four defender.

You don't have to bother doing any forum searches for old posts. I swear it's the truth.

Yeah, we'll start this back up over the weekend. My current ranking is Poulin at #1, POJ at #2, Legare at #3, O'Connor at #4, Maniscalco and Blomqvist debatable for #5 and #6 and then a huge drop-off with guys like Gruden, Clang, Phillips, Lee and Bjorkqvist in that next category.

Still think we should wait until after the prospect camp/rookie tournament.

I don't think prospect camp is happening this year. If it is, it's happening a lot later after the draft than usual.
