He can. The Wings could sign him and send him there immediately. Or, I believe GR could sign him to an amateur tryout (possibly an option if a contract with Detroit would involve any negotiating and take extra time).

Not against it, but Detroit should start watching how many ELC's they have.

Doubt we will sign Setkov. The GR defense is pretty stacked already. Next year McIsaac will join aswell

Setkov has got the tools but he needs a toolbox. He is 22 years old, in his physical prime and isn't good enough for the SHL. I doubt he will ever be good enough for the NHL.

Chara was a baby giraffe, setkov has too much upside to give up considering he's everything Yzerman loves in a defenseman. Think this kid would benefit greatly coming over to gr.

Keith is doing fine no need to rush him. Pickard is having a good season he can be our taxi squad guy.
