I'll be very happy if he produces at the same rate as last season while adjusting to the professional game and a bigger frame. If he can do that and get (even) more reliable in all three zones he'll be primed for a breakout in the seasons following on this one.

If he can up his production significantly this coming season I'll be ecstatic, but I don't think that's fair to expect.

I'm liking the Hossa/Havlat comparisons. Like those players a lot (talking the early Ottawa Havlat here, dunno what happened there, seem to recall knee issues?).

He really reminds me of Parise (minus about 15 lbs). Same style, skating, and movement on the ice to go to the right places. Not afraid to go backhand on the breakaway and not content to set up office on the dot.

Would see him on the B's as a 25/30-30/40 player under Julien. 30+ scorer on a more offense oriented team... A definite keeper and excellent complement to any of the top 3 C's.

Very lucky he was there to take in the late 1st!!
