What some of you people see as arrogance and narcisism is really just confidence and pride. MB is really a damn nice guy. Hes liked all over the league by players and management. The only people hating on him are some hab fans.

How do you know he's well liked? You got him on speed dial and talk to other guys like Dean Lombardi and stuff? Or are you just passing off a foolish assumption as fact? He's well liked, alright, because his incompetence means 29 other teams are in better shape than we are.

He has no confidence in making actual deals. Saying trades are hard and that he builds through the draft while not trading Pleks and Markov for picks, all signs of someone too green or without sense for the job he is hired.

What boggles my mind about this whole Price thing is how big a bargaining chip they just handed over to Gerry Johannson. He can easily ask for the sun, moon, stars and more.

No they'll say Price is injury prone now to reduce his asking price

Prideful and confident in what actually?

Of being a career mediocre and marginal player? Of being a rookie GM who inherited a very solid core and has done squat jack **** to make it any better?

Bergevin hasn't done anything at the NHL level which should permit him to be so arrogant.
