So.... Are you guys feeling a little more confident entering the season with either Rittich or Gillies as the backup to Smith? So far I am. Parsons has also impressed me. I think we are going to be okay.

Gillies looks less awkward this year IMO... could be he’s getting healthier still.

Rittich looks like he’s back to himself from last year.

Not really.

Neither guy looks like they are anything other than below average back-ups and with Smith's injury last year, age and overall poor play I think we likely need more out of our back-ups than normal and certainly don't trust either of those guys to play more than a handful of fill-in games.
