He probably would if he was left handed, odd that they've got him on the wrong side on the top pair. Bowey has to go through waivers, otherwise Seider probably would make the team.

Possibly, but not probably b/c of the log jam @D & they want him playing Top 4 minutes in all situations, similar to Cholowski. My guess is he starts in GR, earns ~9 game callup due to injures.

Since the team is carrying 8 D to start the season, my guess is Kaski makes it due to his age & they can ease him into the NHL with 50-60 games, just a hunch.

I think Hicketts is the 8th D-man they keep talking about. Daley, Ericsson, Bowey and Hicketts will probably rotate at the start of the season.

Not disputing that, but b/c of their unique respective situations, I'm thinking they keep Kaski up. This will give him the year to practice with the Wings & still play 50+ games. My thinking is they want to stagger some of the D & F, not have all of them come up at once to start 2020-21.

For example:

Hirose stays up
Kaski up now

Veleno & Ras mid to late season
Cholo & Seider mid to late season

Zadina & Svech late season

Kuffner in 2020-21

weve many young guys thatll be better this season + weve added maybe the best gm in nhl and a great leader to head the organization (dont underestimate the positive affect upon every person in organization) = despite how it looks on paper and in the medias eyes , both opinions developed because of last seasons results , this team imo could have a much better record . meaning that maybe our draft pick wont be as high as were thinking and maybe it might be a smart thing to trade it now ?
