From what I've seen so far, I like Dube at C.

Kylington also seems to be playing with more precision; movements are with purpose, faster decisions, passes are crisper.

There's no reason for Kylington not to leap to at least #5 on the depth chart by the end of pre-season. He should already be a 2nd pairing guy on this team

Gawdin looks OK, not seeing much from Phillips or Ruzicka. Was hoping for a short stint for Pelletier to start the year but I'm kind of doubting that happens to.

Valimaki has highkey been unnoticeable and not too great. Figure he isn't in any danger of losing a spot yet but some more good performances for Kylington, a couple more duds for Valimaki, and the Flames are put into an awkward situation

I mean he ain't gonna be in the AHL, but it's disappointing seeing him struggle again. It seems like his game has just gotten worse since the start of the 2020-21 season.

His skating is noticeably much worse than it was in the 2018-19 playoffs. Knee injuries do that and can derail careers sometimes. Look at Juolevi for example. Doesn't excuse the bad giveaways in his own zone though. Simply brutal tonight.

Kinda like this Duehr character, wherever we got him. Skates well for a big man, has more maturity in his game that some of our other young guys are lacking. Will follow his progress in the AHL.
