He's certainly playing a lot better today than he has been. Long may it continue.

The tactics tonight are also correct. It just turns out Robertson is giving his worst deliveries so far this season.
Well Huddersfield isn’t exactly parking it either. Nice to be winning but not overly excited about anything yet. Henderson and Milner’s fresh legs are making a big difference.

IDK that's a hard shot to stop. A bullet off the inside of the post and in from point blank? He'd have had to been pretty much against the post to stop it, or have De Gea like reflexes.

I'm more impressed with how he gathered the ball in the first place and dribbled through those players like they weren't even there.

Well, they kind of are, but it's very difficult for them to do anything. The crossing tactics are eliminating any potential for them to gather the ball and counter.

NBC blaming Ozil for that goal against is laughable.

Getting beaten near post from that angle is a shootable offense for a goalkeeper.

Firmino is an absolute gem indeed. That first half performance highlighting almost everything in his game. He was everywhere, dropping into midfield, making tackles down at rightback, dribbling and nearly providing then putting in an exquisite goal. Lovely.

What are the chances that Lacazette is playing like he doesn't have a care in the world, knowing he'll get bumped by PEA the second he shows up?

All he needs to do is be in his proper position which is about half a step to the right. Instead he played in the center and also closed his legs up.

If a player sends one rocketing under your hand near post, or blasts it to the top of the net, that's one thing. But you should never, *never*, get beat near post from that angle along the ground.

I think he's actually suffering from the same problem that happened to strikers like Soldado when they came to this league. It is extremely difficult to play striker in this league when you aren't big or fast. He'll sort it out eventually.

He got caught between trying to play the pass and the shot. Indecision is a killer. I've seen it happen enough. Takes nothing from the shot which was inch perfect though.

No doubt it's a great shot, but the keepers first responsibility in that case is *always* the near post. Let defenders deal with the pass.
