Yandle on the ice for 29 shots taken last night.

No surprise. Only 16 defensemen in the whole NHL drive more shot taking.

No he sucks he was a minus player on a tanking team.

We don't even have a 3rd pairing anymore, we have 2 2nd pairings.

With a much better set of forwards in front of him that should go up by a good amount.

Edit: what a difference between that chart and the one you posted yesterday, lmao.

Which chart are you referring to?

Our lowest TOI for a defenseman was Boyle with 17:49. That's impressive. :amazed:

so important especially for those playoff games. Remember the nightmare playoff games especially ones that went to overtime where our 1-3 dmen were playing 35/40 minutes a game and 5/6 dmen would get less then 10 lol

According to the HF PHD Main board coach/doctors MTL is one of the teams with better defense than us AND nashville. :biglaugh:

I know Montreal has had an amazing year but you could never convince me their defense is better than ours even before Yandle.

I really liked McD tonight...Zucc, Cam, McD for me

Totally agree . McD looked like the old McD or at least 95 percent of the old McD. also Dan Boyle played a strong game. Was skating hard all game.

Something about that team never really scares me. I don't know why. Obviously, they're having a great season. But, I don't know. Maybe it's that they remind me of the old Rangers. They lean way, way too heavily on Price. It's one thing to have an elite goalie and it's another thing to absolutely need an elite goalie.

Agreed. Boyle getting up on the play made that Staal goal possible. Quick, smart move on his part.
